Dried Organic Lemon Basil hand harvested and grown by Purple Sage Farms

This is a variety of basil that has an incredibly strong lemon flavor and subtle and complementary basil flavor. It's great in teas on its own. It can also be used soup stocks if you need to add zesty high notes.

Our organic herbs and flowers are carefully hand harvested in their prime, when they taste their best, have the most nutritional value, and their essential oils are the most abundant. We gently air dry at low temperatures, preserving the flavor, color, and aroma of the plant while using minimal energy. We cut and sift the herbs by hand to keep the plants as whole as possible to reduce oxidation, which is a process of degradation. Therefore, this product may contain some stems and may require some sorting. Dried herbs and flowers can maintain quality for up to three years.

All of our herbs, spices, and creations are lovingly grown on our Certified Organic family farm in Middleton, Idaho. Our products are then handcrafted and blended to perfection in our certified commercial kitchen on the farm. We have been specializing in organic culinary, gourmet, and medicinal herbs since 1989 and passionately serve the local community and beyond to bring you wholesome and nourishing foods in your home.
